The Busena Terrace Beach

Okinawa LIVE --:--:-- JST

About the Busena Terrace Camera

The Busena Terrace’s own camera, looking down over its beach on the Busena peninsula in Nago, on Okinawa’s west coast. The view runs along the curve of white sand and out across the bay.

The peninsula is best known as the setting of the 2000 G8 Kyushu-Okinawa Summit, held at the Bankoku Shinryokan conference centre next to the hotel. Busena Marine Park, at the tip of the cape, has an underwater observation tower and glass-bottom boats over the reef.

For anyone heading north on the island, the camera is a reliable read on the Nago and Onna coast: whether the water is calm and clear, and whether the afternoon clouds are building.
